On the first view the garden-centre Arndt seems to be just an ordinary nursery.
The boss and owner Thomas Tetzlaff however wants a lot more and he is reaching out to get it….
His latest coup was the implementation of his “Greencard”

He always has new ideas for his loyalty card holding customers and runs a lot of special activities and events for them.
Due to his good and interesting ideas his first issued 1.000 cards have been finished after three months…
Here are some examples of his ideas:
* On every purchase paid cash or with ec-card they receive bonus points
* With the points collected on the „Greencard“ they can pay for their purchase
* For the card holders there a always special offers with a good price advantage
* The nursery issues a e-mail newsletter for “Greencard” holder with gardening-tipps and
* information
* The card holder gets a special garden newspaper six times per year for free
* The top 20 card holders receive a christmas tree for free
* The customers have the chance to win at the yearly lottery
* The more points the customers has collected on his card the higher is the rebate he receives
* on his purchase
* The card holders get invitations via e-mail to special events as there are orchid-show, tree
* cutting training, 20% rebate days, opening of the advent season and much more
“My customers are very glad with their card. Due to the fact that they can give their card to a family member or friend they try to collect as much bonus as possible.
Once I have their relatives or friends in my nursery I try to convince them to get their own card. The card holder therefore receives an extra bonus of 100 points because he brought me a new customer.
And with that solution everyone is happy including me” smiles the clever salesman.
“With the integrated software I am able to collect the details of my customers as there are birthday, email address etc.”
“I think you can imagine how impressed my customers are when they receive a present for their birthday” says Tetzlaff. “But they only get it when they come to my nursery because I want to have them here and spent some money” laughs the friendly gardener.
