Since the abolition of the Discount Law, collecting bonus points has become increasingly popular in Germany. At the same time, customers are becoming increasingly mobile, thus increasing competition among neighbouring communities, suburbs and towns. Joining together to establish a common bonus system gives small and middle-sized towns the chance to compete with the - sometimes very powerful - national and international competitors ..... and with the EcoCity this can be done at a very reasonable price.

The chipcard is the key to an intelligent and simple network also in this case. The internal coding defines the circle of terminals which accept cards issued by a trader or even a group of traders. It is thus possible for a whole town to offer a joint customer card or for the businesses to accept each others' cards.

Working together with you, we can adapt further options provided by a CityCard to the local situation and organisation:

awarding points/discounts: standardised or for each business?
premiums: cash, shopping vouchers or goods/services?
card design: standardised or individual design for each business?
settlement/calculating the bonus points: make or buy, through us or a local partner?
